Martini Magic at Your Wedding
Make your martinis match your wedding color! One of the hottest trends for weddings this season is having a signature drink that goes with your wedding colors. The best part about it is that it is fun and you can be creative! Try adding an extra ingredient so you can call it your own. For example my favorite martini is a Sweet Martini which is typically made with 1 ½ ounce Dry Gin, ¾ ounce Sweet Vermouth and a lemon peel or olive. However Gisele from Dream Event 4 You, like to add a little Sky Vodka as well and I give it the name Sweet Giselleini. A great way to impress your guests is to have your signature drink named after you. If Mark and Jen are getting married you could serve two different versions of a martini called a “Markini” and “Jennini.” I’ve listed some of the most popular colored martinis that are easy to make. You can also tweak the recipes slightly to make darker and lighter shades of each color. Don’t forget to add a garnish!!
Blue Martini (BLUE)
- ¾ ounce Sky Vodka
- ¾ ounce Blue Curacao
- ¾ ounce sour mix
- lemon twist
Chocolate Martini (BROWN)
- 6 parts vodka
- 1 part chocolate liqueur
- Chocolate curl
Crantini (RED)
- 2 oz. cranberry juice
- 1 1/2 oz. vodka or gin
- Rose's lime juice
Bana Splitini (YELLOW)
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz Banana Liqueur
- 1 oz Orange Juice
Pink Citrus (PINK)
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz Absolut Vodka
- Pink Grapefruit Juice
- Splash of lime
